Dedicated to books, ideas, and the pleasures of literacy, it aims to serve the reading public, to encourage debate, and to celebrate the City of Oakland. TREASURE ISLAND FLEA May 30-31 | 10:00am - 4:00pm
Launched with a mission to support local artists and entrepreneurs, the Treasure Island Flea debuted Memorial Day 2011. Four years later the monthly event has become a Bay Area hallmark and is Northern California’s largest monthly gathering of artists, collectors, designers, crafters and food trucks.

Swimmers, kayakers, rowers, SUPers, surfers, sailors, and all Bay enthusiasts are invited to join our on-the-water parade to celebrate a healthy San Francisco Bay. Aquatic costumes, decorated boats, noisemakers, and team rivalries encouraged. Have a fun time on the Bay, for the Bay!
